Eric Bashford has led principal transactions in the medical device, computer hardware, nanotechnology and software fields. He has also led numerous non-principal transactions, raising in aggregate over $100 million. He led the Rainer Research Group at M.H. Meyerson & Co., where in 1997 he wrote the first Wall Street recommendation of Stratasys, a pioneer and now the world’s largest factor in the 3-D printing business. Prior he was President, Director, and Investment Banking and Research Director of RAS Securities Corp. Mr. Bashford also held Senior Vice President positions in investment banking at Reich & Co., Inc., Hopper Soliday & Co., Inc., J.T. Moran & Co. and R.C. Stamm & Co. Mr. Bashford was also Managing Partner of First Equity Management, a venture capital firm specializing in technology and communications issues, and was a Vice President and technology research analyst at First Manhattan Co. and Martin Simpson & Co., Inc. Mr. Bashford is a Chartered Financial Analyst with an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, and has a B.A. in Economics and Management from Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin. He previously held New York licenses in life and property and casualty. Bashford has been involved in extensive real estate development activities in Park Slope Brooklyn, where he grew up. Bashford and his wife are active in community affairs through their support and development of Broader Horizons, an intercultural language education program in the Westchester New York schools. Bashford served as Trustee of the Board of Education in Briarcliff Manor, New York from 2009 to 2012. His work on identifying and resolving the school districts’ severe environmental problems was featured in a major article in the Huffington Post in 2012. He is a past member of the Village of Briarcliff Manor Zoning Board. Bashford is Vice Chair of the Wharton Club of New York Real Estate Investment Group.
