Ben Salzman is an Instructional Designer and 3d Technology Specialist at Hamilton College where he utilizes XR Technologies for teaching and learning. His academic work has been featured by Chronicle of Higher Education, Educause, Yale Blended Reality Summit, and NERCOMP. In addition to teaching courses with Digital Media technologies and Virtual Reality, he currently manages the college’s HP/EDUCAUSE Campus of the Future research project and is Chair of the New York Six Consortium Instructional Technology Apprenticeship program. In addition to teaching at Hamilton College, Salzman is also a multimedia artist whose recent work focuses on utilizing extended reality technologies to create experiential art. He has been a featured artist at the KYMA International Sound Symposiums in Olso Norway and Santa Cruz California and has also worked with a wide range of artists including Alyson Shotz, Chris Doyle, Dannielle Tegeder, Robert Kinkel, and Samuel Pellman.
